Louisville, Ky. — Syracuse coach Dino Babers said losing linebacker Mikel Jones in the first half of Saturday’s 41-3 loss at Louisville was akin to the Orange losing its starting quarterback.
Jones was ejected for targeting after an officials’ replay determined he led with the crown of his helmet to make a tackle on H-back Marshon Ford with 10:15 remaining in the second quarter.
